Our Manifesto

Testimony Faith Homes is a Christian Ministry, but not a religious one. It is not aligned to any particular Christian Denomination or Persuasion, claiming only the Word of God as presented in the Christian Bible as it’s Guide and Counselor. It is a Work dependent on the Holy Spirit of God, and seeks to reveal God, as He desires. The Constitution of the Work is written in the following way when setting out the Aims and Objectives:-

'To give to all who have eyes to see, a visible proof that God is now and always a Living God, responding to the prayers of all who trust in Him, through Jesus Christ, by establishing a non-profit making work of faith in God for the residential care and education of the orphan and destitute children of Kenya' ( TFH Constitution 2.a)

It is taken for granted that those who join hands to work in this Ministry will be of a similar mind, and committed as a Disciple of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Saviour, and Coming King.

It was felt from the onset that the Work would depend on God alone, and that it would demonstrate what Faith in God Alone could produce. The financial foundation laid down in the initial Clause as printed above was also emphasized in the Constitution under section 7. FUNDS (g)-

'In accordance with the Objects laid down in Rule 2a, the financial structure is based on Faith in God, and that through prayer He will provide. For this reason the Society will not enter into any publicity openly soliciting funds, neither will it openly apply for any financial assistance from any public body, except when voluntarily invited to so apply by the Body concerned.'

The Society does not Appeal for aid of any description, and does not in any way advertise it’s needs (except retrospectively when testifying to the Providence of God in Answering Prayer.)

It was decided from the outset to trust God completely and implicitly, rather than to put our dependence upon any human being for any specific needs whatever they might be. (Psalm 118v8-9 & 146v3 )

Because of this, we have refrained from stating our material needs at any time, except in private to God Himself, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom alone we have access into the Father’s Presence. In this way Testimony Faith Homes became and remains a ‘window’ through which anyone might look and see living proof of God’s Reality. He IS able and available today, in and through Jesus Christ, to hear and answer prayer providing clear evidence that Faith in God alone, in the Name of Jesus Christ, WORKS!

We may now look back through the years passed and see the Faithfulness of God in providing. Never once did we have to depart from this principle of Faith. We are able to SEE the ‘evidence of things hoped for’ in the (FOUR) Children’s Homes and the School, that came into being as a result. The daily provision and up-keep of hundreds of boys and girls are all a clear miracle of His Providence .

The Houses that have become Homes to so many, and the School Buildings have themselves become the Substance and Evidence of things hoped for even before they were seen. So often I reach out to touch a stone in one of the walls as one might touch a miracle. Great Landmarks and Memorials of His Faithfulness. Yet it is also true that this was not attained or experienced without often Trial and Testing, and at times even Opposition. Human anxiety, fear and even desperation have often assailed us, yet we have always seen the Deliverance and the Answer to our prayers break in upon us to save us.

"We have suffered abuse, criticism, false accusation, loss of friends, material poverty, and even human disappointment even as hinted at by Paul in 2.Corinthians 6v4-10.
In all the suffering we have been also able to experience the JOY of His Undertaking for us, and His Fellowship with us. At times walking through a seemingly endless desert on what might have been the 'monotony' of survival rations, there could be distress, BUT to SEE His Presence walking with us - to SEE His Hand provide for our daily life and hope - has been a miracle to us in itself. We ever bare in mind." Deuteronomy 8 v 1-20.
